   Fantastic from beginning to end ! I also made mistake with reservations and they quickly corrected it and went above beyond to accommodate us.

   Paul and Julia did an amazing job. We had cocktails by the fire before dinner and had the opportunity to learn a lot about the owners and the history of the Inn. The food and wine pairings were amazing. The quality, passion, and attention to detail the owners bring make for a fun and educational dining experience.

   Exquisite gem in the mountains of Vermont. Creative, inspired cuisine by a charming husband and wife team in a stylish and chic setting. It feels as though you are a guest in their home. It is a set menu so you must be adventurous but so much fun to sit down and see where the chef’s creative juices take you. A definite must for any foodie visiting the area.

   Clearly the finest dining opportunity in Southern VT. Very creative courses, well paired wines, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere. To me, it is on par with Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

   This is the most unique dinning experience in the Southern VT area. The menu is set daily and there are 5 - petite courses. All the decisions are made for you! The unique blends of spices and herbs offers a tasty dish...Our server was the owner of the Inn and his wife is the chef. They make a great team and have indepth knowledge on food preparation and wines. The dinning area seats approximately 25 people... The Inn has a minimalist feel to it and at the same time is just as cozy as can be. If I didnt live in Dorset, I would go to the Marble West Inn for a getaway. Dont't miss the experience!

   Outstanding! Exquisite! Please note you do not choose any of the food, it's all prix fixe. Let Chef work her magic with the freshest, largely local ingredients. Chill in one of the parlors with a drink before embarking on your culinary adventure. Fascinating flavor juxtapositions, everything delicious, cooked to perfection.

   This place is an absolute treat. We celebrated a special occasion here and had an evening to remember. Delicious food from local ingredients, prepared and served with love by the friendly proprietors. Beautiful ambiance and stylish decor. We sat out by a fire with a cocktail and watched a stunning sunset before dinner. Highly recommended.

   Our second time at Marble West Inn for dinner. Paul, one of the innkeepers, is super friendly and accommodating, also super knowledgeable about food and wine. Much of the vegetables and herbs come from their garden. The setting is gorgeous. The innkeepers have put tremendous energy and thought into revamping the 1800's building. It's perfect for having a well-prepared dinner and then heading off to the Dorset playhouse.

    Sublime. From the moment of arrival to the final goodbye---and yes, that is how personal the experience is---I knew this was going to be special. You see the garden outside the inn and you know it is a "chef's garden" that will form the basis of your meal. If you are not able to put complete trust in your host, then this is not the place for you---since there really is no "ordering" off a menu. It is all determined by what is fresh and peak and available (either directly or sourced from special purveyors). The courses simply appear and the meal unfolds---the only real decision that needs to be made is whether to do a wine pairing or indulge in one of the specialty cocktails. The dining room---if even to be called that, since it seemed much more intimate---is very small, seating 16 at full capacity. All white with beautiful large framed photographs for a splash of color. The passion of the kitchen---that being the husband/wife duo heading this effort---shines through in every course. We only talked to Paul since he was doing "front of house" duties---we are just going to assume that his wife is equally as charming! The meal was our final night of a week-long Vermont vacation, and glad to be able to say this ended on such a high note! Thank you for an overall wonderful experience.
