   From the hostess to the after dinner drink, our meal at The Mansion was incredible. We came early to get a martini in the bar. The super sweet hostess greeted us with a smile and placed us at a bar table. The bartender was very cool (not to mention a mariners fan) and helped us with some local gin martinis and some of the best oysters we’ve ever had. ( I believe they were Judd cove) We had to order and second round we loved them so much. At our reservation time, the hostess returned and brought us to our dinner table. We were greeted by our server, Bob. He was was one the most personable and knowledgeable servers we’ve had. It’s so great to have a server who is passionate about what he does and by the end of the meal you have a new friend. We started with one of the best seafood chowders I’ve have and My filet with mushrooms and foie was off the charts. Thanks to all the staff at Rosario resort for such a wonderful unforgettable experience. We will be back!

   My two friends and I had an incredible meal here with Eros as our server. We split some small plates like the shrimp and grits, brussel sprouts and cassoulet. Everything was fantastic and Eros couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend!

   We celebrated our son's 31st Birthday there. The salmon wellington was absolutely delicious!! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about not only what the side dishes were but how they were prepared. He brought a candlelit slice of opera cake (also delicious) so that we could quietly sing to our son. My son had a Negroni before dinner and said it was the best one he's ever had! Overall, a consistently great restaurant with a spectacular view!

   I made a reservation at 6.30, and reached early. There wasn't bar space so we had to sit in the lobby to wait. About 6.45, I went to ask the hostess whether the table was ready, and only then she brought us in. The food was nice, but a little slow maybe because they are full on the day.

   Service was outstanding - attentive without being intrusive. The rabbit was excellent, although the accompanying noodles were VERY tough and completely inedible. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and the sides were very tasty. Our dessert of chocolate pot de creme was disappointing. First, they serve it in a mason jar - not what you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. Probably due to the height of the vessel, the top of the custard was overdone - the bottom was perfect. Not sure that we will return, our expectations were pretty high given the price point.

   We LOVED our experience at the Mansion Restaurant. The mansion is historic and lovely right on the waterfront, yet the dining options are on trend in the best way. Beautiful views, excellent service, and very innovative yet accessible cuisine. It was perfect for our special occasion. We'll be back!

    The Mansion Restaurant is an absolute gem! Fantastic setting on the waterfront, historic building with modern amenities, and an incredibly creative and varied menu. We love both the bar menu, and the more formal dining room option. The bar in the Moran Room has to be one of the coolest bars in the world. Cozy up to the huge tiled fireplace in the winter...awesome!
