   The place had closed down in July, we'd made a special journey into town and were really looking forward to it only to be really disappointed!

   Sadly we travelled into Nottingham on the 18th August and arrived at The Loom..... the place was closed down, and after enquiries next door were told that it was closed down nearly a month ago. This was a great shock to us as we had received an email the previous day to remind us of the booking. The voucher was obtained by bidding at a charity event, so this means that the person who donated it lost money and so did we ..... £45.00 paid to obtain it. We are very surprised that you were not informed by the receivers.

   The Loom has been closed down for non-payment of rent. A shame you couldn't have let us know before we got ready, went out and paid for car parking.

   We arrived to find the Loom had been closed down and finished trading a week earlier. So a wasted evening and travel costs etc. You should have been aware of this situation and informed us! We now have to try to get a refund from Google.

   How can you possibly let people book at this restaurant when it has closed down? We were stood outside for half an our trying to see someone in the window before we just left and went elsewhere.

   Very friendly staff right from when we entered the bar to our waitress serving our meals. Lovely food and was well presented would go again..

   First visit on Saturday and we all enjoyed it very much. Candle lit front restaurant area and this leads through to the room with a small stage where the musicians perform. Music area has big comfy sofas and a bar area but it is all well thought out and has a great vibe. Food was a big surprise but a good one. Very good standard, much better than the average stuff put out by the chain restaurants. Front of house were very busy but did a great job with a smile and friendly help and advice. Artists were mainly performing acoustic covers. We moved through after dining and James the last artist was superb ( sure he was only 15 ) Will definitely be going again soon.

   I had the lamb and my friend the beef, it was perfectly seasoned and very filling. the meat was cooked perfectly. we also had a couple of cocktail which were delicious. Service was good too!

    The short blonde haired girl who seats people was not very helpful. She sat us in some awkward dingy seats away from the rest of the public, despite several other tables being available. Not sure why as the facility to select tables was not available at time of booking online so not sure how other people have done it. Left a sour taste in the mouth
