   Bartender was apathetic. Dinner portions were minuscule and cheesecake was generic. Way overpriced for what we received. My pork belly was fatty and greasy. It took 45 minutes from ordering to table. Filet was good and server was good.

   Perfect dinner for our romantic getaway. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, and delicious food. The Caesar salad with its unique twist was wonderful but don’t offer to share any. You’ll want every single bite for yourself. Hubby loved his Filet au poivre, but my lamb was nothing short of outstanding! So glad my husband found this restaurant.

   The restaurant was short-staffed and we sat for a long time without a waiter coming to see us. When one finally did, she was in street clothes and apologized because she wasn’t really working that night. She took our order and left almost immediately and someone else ended up finishing our service, but it was obvious we were the odd table out. Our baked oysters had good flavor but were tiny and lukewarm by the time we got them. Our food was incredibly lackluster compared to our experience here 5 years ago. The “sweet potato” risotto was Kraft mac and cheese orange with NO flavor at all, much less sweet potato. The mixed veggies appeared to have been poured from a bag and steamed and my son’s trout was incredibly overcooked. We will not be back.

   Romantic anniversary with a special table and wonderful Spanish wine. Our ribeye was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our waiter treated to to tasty anniversary dessert.

   Great service. Delicious food. My wife said the Caesar Salad was the best she has ever had. Fun time with 9 friends. Highly recommend.

   We sat out on the patio. Very nice setting. There was only one other couple but they sat us in the sun on a very hot night. When we asked to be moved in the shade they seemed very annoyed. Our waiter then showed up with no smile and read the specials without even making eye contact. She asked what we wanted to drink and when we told her we did not know yet she also seemed annoyed. She came back a few minutes later and when we ordered our drinks she insisted we go ahead and order our food because two big parties came in. She said, “ if you don’t order now you will have to wait another hour”. She continued throughout the night to complain about how busy she was. I honestly felt bad for her but expect a little more from a waitress at a restaurant like the Livery. The food was good enough but next time I am in town I would choose The French Goat or Stardust.

    What a beautiful restaurant. Our waitress told us that there wasn't a bad item on the menu. Two of us chose the chicken breast. Honestly, we are still talking about it. It was the moistest, tenderest chicken either of us have ever tasted. It was melt in your mouth delicious. The pasta with shrimp in the vodka sauce was perfect. The sauce was light and creamy. The presentation of the dishes was perfect. The Livery Tavern has a great wine list to accompany all the dishes. The raspberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream was delicious. The goat cheese ice cream was a hit. Our server told us that people drive long distances just for the in house made treat.
