   we had a pleasant evening . They had a vegan menu which was great . The veggie wellington was very nice . service was good although there was a difference in the service between the two waitresses. One was very happy to assist the other was just clearly in a hurry . we stayed in the hotel the rooms were clean but the bed was so uncomfortable and the size of the tv wow back to the 70’s

   Very quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime, but not a problem. Very pleasant surroundings and we were well received and looked after. Food was very good and enjoyed by all present. Overall good value for money and would be happy to go again.

   The food was first class. Cooked to perfection and delivered to the table hot. Service was 100%. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. I will be returning very soon.

   We arrived at the lighthouse restaurant to be told they were fully booked and had no space for us . Even though we had booked a table. The manager was very rude to us and made us wait 10 minutes before returning and saying that she had found the booking but it was a 5 course meal and looking us up and down . As if to say we couldn’t afford it 😡 needless to say we left and will never ever book a table here again . And will definitely never recommend it to anyone . Avoid at all costs . Very rude manager 😤😡

   Have been dinning with you for a few years now and I would have given it more stars the only problem is the menu needs changing it’s been the same for too long. Other than that it’s always good

   Our lunchtime visit was very good, with really nice food and an attentive waitress. Service was also timed nicely, with a comfortable break between courses. A nice atmosphere and a lovely view over the lake. Recommended.

   We had an absolutely fab meal last Friday. We took friends and we weren’t disappointed. All of us enjoyed our meals, the food was very good and the waitresses were friendly and efficient. It did have a wedding party on a long table but actually the noise level was ok, and it emptied out fairly early so we had the restaurant to ourselves and no one rushed us out. Highly recommend this place, it’s a little gem 😊

    Food as always was beautiful! Plenty of choice from the set menu or extra options if required. Was a particularly quiet evening which suited our small party even better.
