At first glance, we loved the look and feel of this place. The decor and how everything was laid out was nice. Downhill from there. I put in a request for me and my wife’s anniversary to see if they could do something or if there was something specific they offer. Never heard back. We got sat in a corner with a semi broken table, couldn’t be seated elsewhere and just an apology from our waitress. I was looking around and other tables had candles or some other decor that looked nice for the couples sitting there, nothing like that for us. Our waitress was missing the entire dinner. Long stretches where she disappeared, yet looking around the other two waitresses in the same area were consistently checking in with their tables and were visible throughout. So super frustrating ours was nowhere to be found when we needed something like drinks or napkins. Food was ok. The nachos were amazing, that’s why I gave a 3. Our main course though my salmon and my wife’s steak were both over cooked and dry. Skipped desert cause by time our waitress came back around we were ready to go. No manager presence here either. Last two places we’ve been, The Mikro Depot and knuckleheads(which is across the street) we saw the manager checking in with everyone and keeping their staff on point. This place looks like it needs that type of approach. Probably won’t be back.

This is the second time I’ve been here. Overall the service is very good and the building is so interesting, I love the little touch’s that remind you it was a library. Overall though the food is just ok.

Overall, great experience. Our server was very good, extremely attentive and knowledgable. The only thing I’ll say is that I noted a special occasion through open table and that wasn’t recognized.

Excellent experience! We haven't been to The Library in a while, and it is even better than I remembered. Service was friendly, not overbearing. We started with the tuna nachos, delicious! I had the maple dijon chicken, which came with a butternut squash puree, fingerling potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts. Chicken was perfectly cooked. My partner had the duck breast - he highly recommends it. We will definitely be back soon!

Food was very good. My chocolate mouse dessert was thick and heavy instead of airy and fluffy. Flavor was good. Atmosphere was excellent.
