   When we arrived, they did not have our booking. I showed them my confirmation from table table, but that was not enough to secure a table in the restaurant. We were found a table in the busy bar, but had to order our food and drinks at the bar. There was a 45 min wait for food and mine arrived cold! I sent it back and they said they’d bring me a fresh meal, which they did, but the wrong meal! So back it went again and I ended up with my original meal which had been microwaved and my salmon was like rubber! At that point I gave up! I felt sorry for the waitresses as they were severely under staffed. I will not go back, just awful. Terrible service from management.

   The food at The Lambs Green was indeed very good, but was disappointed to find that when we arrived they had no information of our booking. OPen table had NOT contacted them. Fortunately I had confirmation on my phone,

   Booked a meal for valentines, we both ordered steak, the steak was tough and had gristle running through it, my partner left half of hers and I left a third. When it came to pay I mentioned how bad the steak (sirloin) was, the waiter ( tall bald head) didn’t seem to care and showed no interest in what I was saying, as it was the 14/02 and other couples were at other tables enjoying there special night, I didn’t want to make a scene, so I payed (£51.00) and left.

   Managed to accommodate a party for 8 with no problems. Both food and service were excellent.

   I picked this venue as a regular visitor. My birthday, table for 2 booked for 1.30pm. Sat at 1.15pm . Menu given on arrival. Selected from mains. Drinks ordered and served. Upon ordering, about 6 items of food were not available. Therefore Pitzas were chosen. On the 30th if food was not available, either there was insufficient stock or a run on various items. There should be a plan 'B' How did those who came in after us or in the evening fare. Not good enough on this occasion. Everything else was of the usual quality.

   We had a lovely meal, we weren’t rushed even though the place was very busy. Lovely waitress, great food and very reasonable for what we had. Will visit again.

   Friendly staff, lovely setting with cosy corners. Food issue was sorted straight away and fresh lightly cooked asparagus brought in place of the over cooked soggy ones originally served! No quibbles. Thank you
