   We enjoyed a girls dinner, good food and wine. New owners have taken over in the last month or so. The staff were all lovely. But call the pub direct to book! They had to find us a table as they'd never received any notification of our booking - we aren't impressed with the previous owners &/or Opentable allowing a booking to be made (and very misleadingly confirmed again the day before) that wasn't passed on to the new owners.

   Excellent food in a cozy pub setting. Both the quiche and the chicken and mushroom pie were very good. I have had lots of mediocre food in pubs lately and was very pleasantly surprised by this one. The food was good, the service was friendly and efficient. I will certainly return.

   A lovely quiet Cotswold pub with warm welcome, friendly service and tasty food. We booked for 10 including a baby for lunch mid afternoon after a visit to the wildlife park. Highly recommend.

   A bit out of the way (5 miles outside of Burford!) but friendly and did well serving out large and unfocused group!

   The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. This really is a local gem and I always recommend it to my guests who stay in my holiday cottages. The food is great and I could have chosen anything off the menu so will have to go back again just to try something else. We had friends who had been with us before and they were very happy to be there again one year on. Dogs are also welcome. You really must try this pub as it is the least pretentious of all the eating places in the locality and the food is always good.

   The Lamb inn offered a good menu choice in a lovely setting of traditional Cotswold masonry. The prices were good for the amount of food you received, and it was very tasty. The waitresses were very helpful, it did take a while to get the bill though and had to ask multiple times. A few more mins your head signs or softened door frame edges for the taller among us wouldn’t go a miss.
