A place that feels like home.. I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... We're humble, both in our service and in our food, and pretentiousness and oversized egos were banished from the premises the day we started trading. We like looking the part, but life's too short for airs and graces...

    Mother’s Day Shared Luncheon at The Kitchen This Mother’s Day, gather the family and celebrate Mum with a leisurely long lunch at The Kitchen. Our special three-course shared menu is designed to delight, featuring entrees like salt & pepper calamari with dressed bitter leaves, minted pea arancini with citrus aioli, and twice-cooked pork belly bites in a sticky pineapple chilli caramel. For mains, enjoy tender braised lamb shoulder with Middle Eastern spices, pan-seared barramundi with beetroot purée and zesty orange sauce, and spiced jerk chicken with a fresh mango chilli salsa — all served with a selection of seasonal sides. Finish on a sweet note with a trio of desserts including rich dark chocolate brownie bites, mini meringues with poached berries, and golden profiteroles with crème chantilly. $80 per adult, $40 for kids under 12. Mum receives a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival, and we’ll be mixing up cocktail and drink specials all day. Leave the cooking (and the clean-up) to us — bookings are essential.

    A local neighbourhood gem located away from the masses with ample on street parking. An excellent range of dishes in offer freshly prepared and served very efficiently. All reasonably priced.

    A very cute cafe with nice ambience and lovely helpful staff but the food for dinner was disappointing. The chicken tikka masala curry had a maple syrupy flavoured sticky side sauce which seemed out of place and the curry was very average. Despite asking for Gluten free, the meal came with pappadums on top cooked in the deep fryer which also fries glutenous food so had to request another meal. The vegie burger was nothing special but both were around $30 and amongst the cheaper options on the menu. Glad I hadn't ordered anything closer to $40 or I would have felt ripped off. Disappointed after reading such good reviews but maybe their breaky menu is better...

    We had an amazing family Easter lunch at The Kitchen, the meals were absolutely delicious and the service super friendly and accommodating. Everybody was raving about the food, value for money and overall experience. Can’t recommend highly enough!

    From the moment we walked in we were so warmly welcomed and looked after by the amazing staff. The food was delicious! We had such a lovely time and will be back when we are next in the area. Thank you!

    Pleasantly surprised with a great experience. FOOD was fantastic. Almost as important the service & staff were outstanding. Very enjoyable. Well worth a visit. We'll be coming again when we are next down in this part of town.

    We had a lovely time at The Kitchen, service was excellent, friendly and quick. There were six of us and we all ordered something different, everything was so good. It was great to have gluten free options that were as delicious as other things on the menu and not just a salad.

    Chose daily special of confit duck pasta. Tasty and generous serve but cream sauce too runny. Partner had mussels which were delicious though very salty. Desserts large portions. Young waiters were kind and efficient.
