   We had an amazing time at the Kingstide. When we walked in the manager Jacqueline had a warm greeting for us and walked us right to our beautiful table outside. We were promptly greeted by our server Nikelle, she was so kind and helpful, we had our young son with us and she offered to get his meal to us right away! That's was so thoughtful. The food was delicious we had the shrimp cocktail and the ceviche had so much flavor. For dinner we enjoyed the fish platter amd the blackend grouper. They were both some of the best dishes I've had! Wow so much flavor and well balanced. Dont skip on the cauliflower and the Brussels for sides, they were so tasty. For dessert the crunch bar was the winner, very well balanced between sweet and salty with the Nutella. I'd recommend The Kingstide to anyone looking for a delicious dinner with great staff!    Easter Lunch was delicious. Great options for the 3 course menu. Staff is always friendly.

   Never disappoints! Amazing NY strip this visit with a great old fashioned to go along with it. Great view and great vibe. Try the upstairs bar too!

I think anything finished over our wood-fire grill is an excellent choice. I am so glad you enjoy our old fashions on the beverage menu as well. The upstairs bar really does have a great view.    Perfect meal, perfect drinks, perfect service, perfect view! After striking out countless times trying to find somewhere to have dinner in downtown Charleston while actively in downtown (everywhere was fully booked, didn't accept reservations, or the menu seemed mediocre and overpriced-- we found Kingstide via opentable. What a breathe of fresh air! We were happy to drive the short distance to gain easy parking, a picturesque view, and an excellent meal. All our anxieties vanished as we enjoyed this moment to finally be present with each other rather than worry about poor service or overprized food. Zoe was great, all the staff was excellent. The menu was interesting, great wine selection (you had me at by the glass Sancerre!), and my whole family found something they enjoyed. 10/10

I love the view as well and count myself blessed I get to work here. The ambiance really is tough to beat. I am so glad that you found us and gave us a try. And remember the Daniel Island ferry also provides services from downtown to the island. I have not been on it myself, but I hear great things about it and can't wait to try it out. I am so pleased to hear that Zoe was great! We do strive for that above and beyond hospitality to make the dining experience memorable for you.    For the SECOND time, I spent $375 and left hungry. We had three adults and a child and the kids menu had a larger portion of food. The environment is great but you will need to get a pizza after spending hundreds of dollars. All three of us wanted pizza. Skip this place and goto Halls Chophouse.

    The food was mediocre at best. The calamari had way too much breading and was rubbery. The she crab soup was good and the rest was eatable.
