The Private Room at The Ivy Chelsea Garden seats 30 on one long table, or 24 on three round tables of 8, and is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks and canapé receptions for 50 guests, 7 days a week.Decorated in a similar style to The Ivy Chelsea Garden, the walls of The Private Room are adorned with colourful vintage botanical prints and sumptuous floral artwork. The bespoke patterned white Carrara and Fior de Pesco grey marble tiled flooring, eclectic mix of vintage dining chairs upholstered with bold floral and palm printed fabric and hanging gilt leaf pendants add a touch of glamour to the room.With a selection of menus available, specially created by our Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, The Private Room is equally as suited to private parties and wedding celebrations as it is for corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners. There is a beautiful marble top private bar decorated with bevelled antique mirror panels and trimmed brass.

My husband asked for a rare steak. When it came it was well done. The waiter apologised and took it away. By the time he returned with a fresh one, cooked rarely as requested, the rest of us had finished. This rather spoiled our enjoyment of the meal, which was otherwise excellent. The price of the steak should have been taken off our bill.

Lovely setting where we sat in the garden you could smell the Jasmine which was beautiful. The staff were very helpful & attentive. There was a wedding reception going on which we could see it was so nice to see people happy & enjoying themselves. Made it even more special. My daughter is dairy free and that was catered for and was not a problem.

Perfect place to celebrate our daughters 18th birthday. The setting and ambience are beautiful, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. My daughter was presented with a celebratory dessert and candle which was a lovely touch. Would recommend for special occasions.🥂🍾 xx

It is so expensive and the food is a big hit or a miss. The worst part was the service. The bar staff seemingly smashed a glass every few minutes and the servers set up a stand next to our table for all the tables in our section and someone would knock it over every few minutes and it would crash to the floor. Our server disappeared for a long time. We had to send one meal back because it wasn’t edible. However, there was one food runner who became our proxy server and was great and a few of the appetizers were delicious.
