   What a waste of potential is the first thing that comes to mind. Yes it’s winter and quiet with just three tables in use. This is where it starts to go wrong. The wait was looooooong for bread too I’m talking over half hour. This wouldn’t maybe be so bad if the music wasn’t absolutely horrendous! Funeral and break up songs! It killed any atmosphere that could have Been in there. Services was adequate, the waiter was polite enough but looked miserable and not very attentive. Food- this is the shame because it was absolutely incredible!! Well worth the price. The steak was fantastic I mean one of the best I’d eaten and cooked to perfection! Presentation incredible. Sauce was amazing. If they sorted out the rest I would highly recommend.

   Very enjoyable lunch in a smart environment, the side orders of olives and salad etc really enhanced at great meal.

   The carbonara was the best I’ve ever eaten but my son commented on how the calzone was not what he expected as upon opening it up, he was met with a layer of soggy cheese and what we believed to be chicken with lumps of strange ham on top, not very appetising at all. However, the Garlic Bread was delicious and came in abundance. The ambience was nice and the waiters and waitresses were kind and very helpful despite how busy they were.

   Loved the venue and the food was very good the service was excellent and made us feel very welcome

   We were upstairs, Monday evening, not full but still many tables occupied, mostly hotel guests. The service was very friendly, the food was good. We drank a nice wine and the bill was reasonable. So I can recommend this restaurant.

   Although the cafe could not find our reservation, we were made very welcome and they quickly found us a suitable table - in fact allowed us to choose from those still available. We had a bit of a wait to order drinks and the food, but otherwise did not wait long for the starters and main course to arrive. We both ordered starters of deep fried calamari, which were cooked to perfection, very tender and not rubbery or chewy as squid can sometimes be. We followed that with seafood linguine. They were generous portions, with a great variety and plenty of seafood. Whilst my wife's had lots of white wine sauce, mine was a little drier. The service was very attentive.

   Lovely hotel. Welcoming by staff. Lovely pool and spa facilities. Great room service and an upgrade on our room. Just lovely. Beautiful view.

    Standard fayre, nothing wrong at all but not outstanding. Price on the high side but convenient as we were staying next door. Noisy wedding party though.
