Its setting features the original pressed tin covered ceilings and walls, as well as a wine cellar. My son took me here for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. Good thing we had a reservation as this place was packed. Although it's kind of a small space, the atmosphere makes the dining room feel larger than it is. Both the ceiling and walls are covered in original pressed tin. Although the restaurant was packed and loud, my son and I were able to have a conversation without yelling at each other. The staff was friendly and attentive. My son ordered the Berkshire pork chop. It was actually a double pork chop cooked to perfection. Along with various vegetables it included several smoked clams. Awesome!! I ordered the bronzini which was placed on top of an apple puree which I never would have thought to taste as good and tasty as it was. For dessert, which are made by the owner, we split a slice of the triple layer devil's food cake. It was lighter than expected (a plus), fresh and delicious. The frosting too was light, not too sweet, which also was a plus. I definitely plan on coming back!!

This is our favorite "fancy" dinner out in Nyack! Not cheap, but everything is fantastic-- and make sure you save room for desert, because that will be the highlight of the meal! You can also sit in the bar area for something a little less formal, and the specialty cocktails are a treat as well.
