The house Pinot Gris was strangely fizzy. The people on the next table also noticed this as I over heard them other than that everything was good. Halibut very tasty.

Had a very enjoyable time at Hook and Plow. The food was fresh and creative. My halibut special was cooked perfectly, with a generous portion of mushrooms. Service was a little spotty at times, but I think they were short a body. The server and expediter were upbeat and helpful. A really great choice.

I always love farm to table restaurants, and while visiting Sunriver with friends who have a home there decided to try out this new restaurant. The service was awesome, but being gluten intolerant I found the choices were limited for dinner entrees. I ordered a dish that mainly consisted of squash, beets and brussel sprouts. All of this was on top of a bed of arugula, and they left out the couscous due to the gluten issues I have. I found that the only vegetable I could eat was the beets as the squash and brussel sprouts were both tough and not easily speared with a fork. The waitress reacted appropriately when I told her, and she did not charge me for the entree. She also issued me a ten dollar gift card so that we might come back and try it again in the future. My friends said their meals were just ok, and I did taste the lamb my friend had ordered. Not a lamb consumer, but it was as she state, just ok.

Amazing! Far exceeded my expectations! Everything we ordered was a delightful combination of fresh ingredients and curated flavors. I highly recommend the Spicy Crab Cake, Brick Chicken, and the Bananas Foster Crème Brûlée. All incredible!

Brandon our server was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. From the appetizer to the dessert everything tasted fantastic. The bread is made in house and tasted amazing to start with. My partner had the harvest bowl and loved it, it was also enough for two servings for sure. I had the brick chicken, it was also really good and correctly proportioned. We finished with the banana crème brûlée which was also awesome. Would recommend

Pretty good overall. Personally I feel the tuna poke could be more flavorful. Otherwise quite solid. I always wish restaurants would have smaller sides for couples. So much food and waste. And we don’t always want the same dish
