   Service was okay, but the food was poorly presented and not good to eat and so poor value. Neither of us enjoyed our meal - I ate mine, because I paid for it, but never again. My friend could not finish her meal, as it was so unpleasant. Coffees were good but overall expensive for not much at all.

   Found Beef very chewy! Service started off ok but went down hill We were not handed or offered a dessert menu after we ate our main - so we left quite disspointed. I have eaten many times at the Hollybush and always had fantastic food and service but felt let down this time .

   It was so refreshing to visit somewhere that got the service and the food right. We were staying a 4 minute drive away on a little weekend away and are so pleased we booked here. The food was so clearly homemade and fresh. My partner, who isn't a dessert person, said the cheesecake was the best he'd had! If only we lived nearby and not 3 hours away as we'd be back! Thank you Tina and Jude for great service.

   Food was fantastic & plenty of it, difficult to choose as so many great options. Staff were lovely, friendly & helpful. My only very slight grumble would be parking, despite a reasonably well sized car park, there were lots of cars parked in areas that weren't actual spaces making manoeuvreing tricky.

   Friendly staff, good menu choice, food well presented, dinning area very noisey difficult in holding a conversation with table guest.

   Always great food and service at The Hollybush . I had the roast pork and it was so yummy , beautifully cooked and nice and hot . Pineapple and lime cheesecake for dessert , it was soooo good. Service was excellent too , nothing too much trouble

    The staff were very very very rude and when challenged for their rudeness and pointing of a finger in my face , was an awful experience. And being told “ you ordered the food you will have to eat it”?The food wasn’t great . The young boy who asked if we wanted a drink , should listen . When I asked for 1/2 a coke he replied “ want a pint” no was the answer. When my friend asked for a small lime and soda he replied “want a pint” why would 2 ladies over 60 want a pint !!!!!

    We had made notes on our diary about the rude and vile nature of these guests. To honest we should have rejected the booking but gave them the benefit of the doubt. In fact this was the third occasion these people had exhibited bad behaviour in the restaurant. Never ever ever ever have one of our staff had to suffer such rudness and bad manors. If you come to our restaurant and see our previous reviews you will know this bad review is absolute nonsene and know what type of people these are. Never ever ever ever welcome back. I pity any restaurant that has to suffer these people in the future.
