The Heights Restaurant and H Bar was established in 1995 by Culinary Institute of America graduate James Larounis and his wife Heidi. We are located in the Village of Cayuga Heights, one mile from the center of Cornell University.
The restaurant has a casual, contemporary atmosphere and features Mediterranean-inspired American cuisine. We place the utmost value on our seasonal menus and on sourcing locally.
We also take great pride in our wine list which includes over 400 bottle selections from the United States and international regions, and over 20 wines by the glass. The Heights Restaurant and H Bar has been a Wine Spectator award winner since 1999. Lunch reservations are available; please call the restaurant to make a reservation.

My husband and I chose the Heights to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. We have come here many times on special occasions and new it would be a perfect selection for this one!

Booked a table through OpenTable to celebrate my husband's birthday with our son. As soon as we arrived we were ushered to our table which was in a nice quiet corner, just as I had requested and our server wished my husband a happy birthday (I had mentioned it when I booked the table) which was a nice touch! I ordered the salmon special which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Seabass which he said was delicious as well. My husband asked for a recommendation for wine to go with his meal and the server brought three wines for my husband to taste which was a nice touch. Overall we had a delightful evening and the service our server provided was excellent.

Wonderful meal with dinner courses we normally would only see in a large city. Richard was an excellent waiter and all staff was very attentive.

I have always liked this restaurant, but today's service was better than ever, and it is always fine. Food was great, service was great, wine was great.

We went here to celebrate my son's graduation from Ithaca College and my daughter's birthday. The food is very good and beautifully presented. Service was very good as well. It is very expensive. Ask to sit in the front room. We were in the back room, which was fine, but the front is so much nicer. Would have requested to sit there if I had known.

Even though it was graduation weekend and we knew it would be busy, our dining experience was disappointing. Too many tables were crammed into the dining room. My husband was bumped numerous times during dinner.

The food was delicious, the service excellent. However, the back room where we were seated is very enclosed. It was very overly crowded and very noisy leaving the experience far less pleasant than the food would have allowed if the room had not felt suffocating.

Absolutely delicious swordfish and bronzine. The portions were significant and half of the swordfish came home with me, as did half of the chocolate cake.

Each course was presented very well. We had some challenges with our meal but after speaking with the chef/owner the issues were resolved and we look forward to dining at The Heights again.
