   As always we had a delicious dinner at The Hawke in Lambertville! Sat outside it was a beautiful night and the service and food was perfect!!

   It was too loud to talk which is weird considering we were outside! Service was terrific and the food was good. Not outstanding but good. I have eaten there often and it’s always good enough to come back. Not fancy but well done. Which is saying a lot these days.

   The Hawke is noisy inside, we sat outside. It is nothing to impress a date with; the atmosphere outside, crowded and close tables. The food was good, we had sandwiches and split a salad, one bottle of sparkling water. 90.00 Not impressed.

   Great food in a nice, casual venue. Prices are a bit steep on both food and drink (glass of wine is $16) but I guess that's the way it is lately. Parking is limited but is free (street parking).

    New owners redecorated the Hawke. More modern looking, less historical. No more old fashioned pictures. Outside patio has a canopy now. Garden along sides of fences is gone. Food: The calamari was good, as was the the side salad. The rest was ok.
