   LOVELY STAFF, MY PARTNERS FOOD WAS A LITTLE COLD AND THEY TOOK IT BACK AND REHEATED IT. CHOICES OF PUDDINGS WERE LIMITED.......WANTED STICKY TOFFEE, BUT THE LEMON MERANGUE WAS NICE. THANK YOU, WE WILL BE GOING AGAIN

   Went for Sunday lunch. Ordered meals and waited a while. When meals came they were only just lukewarm. Asked if they could warm them and they brought two fresh meals. They were hot and lovely. I had a creme Brulee for dessert but portion very small for price.

   The service was the worst I have had in years.we had to get our own menu no one asked if we here ok and in the end we had to go and get our desert menu. Two hours for a main dinner and desert. When we left no one new and no apology for the bad service. One woman did say she asked who was looking after us and no one knew.

   Food was poor ,warmed up unable to cut. We returned food and it came back just as tough. Staff appeared to be equally upset and could be seen arguing in the background. We will not go again.

   Really nice place with good selection of ales and cosy comfort food. Large portions for your money and really good quality food. Spectacular views over the hills to Manchester.
