With beautiful surroundings, and a stylish interior, The Harts Boatyard in Surbiton is a classic meets modern pub, a perfect setting for any occasion. Our chefs take pride in preparing fresh, delicious tasting food using the finest ingredients. Signature dishes include spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit, slow cooked pork belly with seared scallops, salmon supreme served with thyme-roasted butternut squash, and our home-made British beef burger. For a lighter bite, our spiralised carrot salad and Mediterranean mezze are both delectable, or for some sweet indulgence our melting golden chocolate bomb with caramel ice cream is sure to please!

    The redeeming feature to make this more than just a pub is the location in the River Thames. But for that, not remarkably different from the myriad of middle of the road pubs throughout London.

    Very nice fathers’ day menu, lovely atmosphere. Service was great, especially as we booked via opentable and when we arrived at the pub they didn’t have our reservation registered and despite this were able to find a table for us. Better to book directly with them.

    Nice menu but they ran out of both of our drinks - it was only 2pm on a Sunday afternoon and one of the beers and one of the wines were out.

    Th food and location are great. Free parking for customers if you register at the bar. Great choice available. I had the chicken salad and they were happy to swap the bacon for Goats cheese. The chocolate and peanut bomb was everything you could ask for in a dessert! The service was a bit slow as it took nearly 45 mins to get our mains but we were chatting. If I was in a rush it may have been a problem!

    The waiter was polite and helpful but food really let them down. Will not bother going back there again.

    Always a nice variety of menu options and very attentive service. Food was just what you want for a Sunday gastropub lunch!

    Lovely setting on the river. Nice interior. Parking a bit limited so get there early. Very good food.
