We are a beautiful, historic listed pub in the heart of St Albans. We pride ourselves on our delicious homemade food, tasty cask ales, served with a smile by our welcoming, attentive staff. We have a rustic cosy interior with an open fire, perfect for cosying up in the colder months, and a beautiful sunny pub garden, perfect for lazy summer evenings. The Hare and Hounds is a family friendly pub, and we're dog friendly too! We're not too far from Verulamium, making us a perfect place to stop after a walk around the lake. We have a large flexible space perfect for hosting Birthday parties, christenings or even weddings and occasional live music.
