   Good selection of food in the menu and many great drinks to choose from. The restaurant is conveniently located across from the CIBC theater which is nice if catching a show. Service could be a little quicker and two of the fillets ordered had fat which was odd. Still, I would go here again if attending a show across the street.

   Fantastic service, excellent food. The steaks are top-notch. We also appreciated our server’s attention to time as we were heading to a show afterwards. Will come again!

   Went to dinner with friends before a show and the food was excellent. We ordered bone in ribeye, short rib papperadelle, airline chicken and filet mignon. Each dish was well prepared and delicious. Definitely a place to go to before a show

   Great place for tasty meal and quick service before heading to a performance of the CSO. Conveniently located and quiet enough for intimate conversation. Good options for carnivores and vegetarians alike.

   Was downtown with family for a conference and chose the Grillroom since it was very close to our hotel. Was strangely quiet for 7 PM on a Friday which was nice in regard to noise level and ambiance. The most important thing, the food, was excellent. Steaks were prepared perfectly and drinks and appetizers were delicious. Highly recommend the lobster bisque. The staff was very attentive however we felt rushed even though it was not very busy. Brought out our main courses well before we finished our entree’s and actually had to stop them from removing delicious uneaten oysters. What I found to be most odd was that we were informed that they were out of several items on the menu (drinks and appetizers) that we ordered at 7 PM on a Friday. Don’t usually experience that at an upscale restaurant. Again, the food we were served was outstanding.

   This place has it all, ambience, food prepared well, attentive staff that would check back to see if everything was prepared correctly, or if there was a need. Beautifully lit with an eclectic playlist that was a good mix; sometimes chill, sometimes lively jazz. Great experience.

   Grillroom was absolutely exceptional! Appetizers and the main course were fantastic, but we can't evaluate the dessert because we didn't order it. The service was very attentive and with a positive attitude, the waiter made great recommendations, we never had to wait when we needed something. The ambiance is very pleasant - high ceilings, impressive interior, a good bar scene (we came early and had some drinks, excellent bar service). Low noise. nice background music. Free valet service (but tip, of course). Everything was 100%.

   Andrew, thank you so much for those kind words about your latest experience with us. It does mean a great deal to know that we are making lasting memories with our guests. I know that we had on street parking available that evening, which is fortunate, but we do not have a valet service affiliated with our restaurant. There is ample pay for parking around the area as well. Just wanted to clarify that point as well as to thank you again and hope to see you back soon

   Even though it was St Patrick weekend in Chicago, this place was severely understaffed. I guess the powers that be thought no one would come. They were wrong. Very wrong. But the waitress on duty RAN HER BUTT OFF providing excellent service with the help of the bartenders and host. They came together to save what could have been a huge disaster. Making it a really nice experience. The food was OK. Nothing amazing, but enjoyable. What made the night was watching the staff pull together. Bravo to your staff. They deserve a raise or at least a thank you for a job well done.

    Just got into town, and this place was recommended to us. Once we walked in, we knew we had made the correct t choice. Everyone was so friendly to us, including Jose, who was assisting the server. They were very busy but did not miss a beat. Even the manager came over to check on how we were doing. Great food combined with great service
