    A focus on the incredible wines from Tenute Orestiadi, Sicily. A company that vinifies the best grapes on the island: from the Belìce Valley to the slopes of Mount Etna with the aim of tracing routes that unite the people of the Mediterranean. Known as the crossroads of the Mediterranean and with influences from Italy and Spain but also Arabia and Africa, Sicilian cuisine is a veritable melting pot of flavour.     The food at the Greyhound is really delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. We had a warm welcome and were well looked after. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

    After receiving meat on the plate (3oz beef and lamb, poor portion) we had to wait 4 minutes until my husband asked the manager where is our veg. The managers answer was “when I manage to train my stuff to balance plates on their heads you’ll get it quicker.” My husband was flabbergasted and replied that was the worse reply he’s ever heard in the restaurant. Manager then went to the kitchen and came back with our side orders. The manager cane with the final bill, he applied 50% off and apologised profusely but the Easter Sunday meal was ruined.

    Food, service and ambience were to a high standard. Scotch egg starter was a particular highlight. Portion sizes good too. Only room for improvement was that the fries were slightly overcooked for our liking - but these things happen.

    Very nice pub. Delicious food and good service. Range of good vegetarian options. Friends had the nut roast and said it was really good.

    Really good food, great options for different dietaries. Catered to our need for space for buggies. Would recommend to others as a must visit place. For us personally we found it a little expensive so would come here for special meal out versus regularly

    My favourite place to eat did me proud once again! So pleased to have my first asparagus of the season which lived up to expectation 🙌!
