Set in the middle of the picturesque village of Botesdale which nestles between Bury st Edmunds and Diss, we are proud to offer Fantastic Artisan Woodfired Pizza using our unique recipe hand stretched dough made by our chefs and cooked in the oven built by Chris the owner.
At The Greyhound we pride ourselves on the build your own menu, with over 25 toppings to choose from, as well as our 7 classic menu pizzas.
We can make any of our great pizzas using freshly prepared gluten free bases, along with vegan and gluten free vegan options.
If you want a cosy but cool village pub 'The Hound' won't disappoint.

    Simply delicious! Four of us went, we all swapped slices because we all chose different ones. All very good. Nothing left.

    The best pizza you will ever eat! Honestly, I have eaten pizza in Italy (I am sure you have too) and while the view may not be as good at the Greyhound the Pizza is superb and if you like a good English Ale then you will be blessed.

    The pizzas here are the best. Made fresh to order and cooked in a wood fired oven. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The pub is an authentic village pub, no chintz just rustic and always warm in winter.

    Delicious homemade pizzas as always. Well looked after by Vicky who made sure our drinks were topped up. Another thoroughly pleasant evening.

    Wonderful 'local' atmosphere. Good value hot food. Exceptional friendly and efficient service. Have been here on many occasions and will return.

    We love the greyhound, the pizzas are always delicious, the staff are wonderful and theres such a lovely atmosphere. We brought family that hadn't visited the greyhound before, they loved it and cannot wait to return.

    Great team and service led by wonderful Vicki. Fine pizzas too. A good and lively local pub with some excellent beers.

    A lovely old village pub, full of character that serves the most incredible pizzas and the service is also great. Lucky enough to live in the village and have this as a local.
