   My GF and I both ate Crapcakes and Chicken. Within several hours afterword, we both experienced Stomach irritation and discomfort. Not sure if these directly caused this discomfort, but the fact that both of us experienced it, it was very suspious . We also had a sige order of Cauliflower. BG

   The food was great. The sever was great also. The service was lengthy, there was only 1 server and seemed like 1 chef. The ambiance of the entire hotel was different than expected.

   Beautiful and historical property, nicely located in a gorgeous neighborhood. We tried crab cakes, mushrooms soup, rigatoni and fish all completely delicious. We will definitely come back

   The atmosphere is great, the food was ok, the server forgot basically everything we asked for throughout the night. Wrong order, wrong drinks, forgetting things all together. They probably should write things down if they have a bad memory.

   The food and service were very good. However, the heat was not working on a very cod, below-freezing night. Our party of six needed to wear our winter coats while dining.

   There were four of us in for a Sunday brunch in a restaurant with two other tables. It took 45 minutes for the scrambled eggs and bacon dishes to be served. 7 minutes later the Benedict dish was served. 5 minutes after that the eggs over medium with bacon were served. All toast was cold, the Benedict eggs were poached to medium hard, all bacon was slimy. The breakfast potatoes were hot, a high point.

   Horrible service. They ran out of vegetables? Told us we were too loud in a private room. Glasses were dirty.

   The Homestead Room offers old school charm and elegance, with a warmth and coziness that make this a perfect choice to spend a relaxing and comfort food dinner, lunch, or breakfast. Service is good, although understaffed; meals were high quality, tasty, and worth the wait.
