   Warm welcome. Very helpful and attentive staff. We loved the food we ordered, thank you chef! We all had a nice time!

   Service was incredibly slow... ordeted food at the bar approx 1330 and it wasn't served until after 1400. Our waitress was apologetic but it there was no obvious reason for the delay. Another table also seemed to have meals served at varying intervals so maybe the kitchen was short staffed?

   Arrived to be told they didn’t accept bookings through open table any more and they were fully booked in the restaurant. Only table they had was in the bar which was not too bad, but with a small child and someone blind in the group it was not great compared to the original booking. Once seated the menu was varied but some descriptions were not accurate so took a bit of time to get the meals ordered as staff checked with the kitchen. Food arrived quickly enough but one of the meals took a further 10-15 mins to arrive after the rest. Understandable mistake but poor. Staff were apologetic but didn’t take away from the fact that our visit left us with an overall negative opinion of the place.

   Not a great meal-usually a really tasty roast but today was flavourless... They ran out of ‘Vegan Bread’ for the vegan burger but with no alternative, advising all of their alternative bread contained milk and eggs🙄... really disappointing

   Food was awful. Thai curry tasted like it was a supermarket ready meal and the chips with other meals were rock solid hard and steak very chewy. I asked for a latte with my dessert and the lady spilt a whole load of it in the saucer in front of me before she placed it down and proceeded to give it to me and try and hide the spill from me and pretend it didn’t happen despite the fact she spilt lots. All of this for £30 p/h was poor service to say the least.

   Do not bother dining here. Service was awful and had to get our own drinks from the bar. When the server finally came to take our order which was a 45 minute wait both of the mains that we wanted were no longer!! Total waste of time so we said forget it. Went to Cote in Marlow instead and a thoroughly enjoyable meal there!!😁

   First time visitors .... and last! We ordered the veggie mezza to start which was described as a sharing platter. This consisted of half pitta bread sliced, half carrot, one broccoli spear, 4 or 5 slices of pepper and not much more. Two of the accompanying dips were fine. The third can only be described as inedible ... as agreed by all four diners. Mains arrived. The fish dishes ordered were all tasty - however, two of the group were vegetarian and chose a chicory and goats cheese tart which upon arrival looked most unappetising. Over cooked, dry and miserable - definitely not worth the £13 price tag. Upon complaining this was exchanged for a cauliflower cheese soup which was described as mediocre and bland. We chose one dessert to share, which, to be fair, was very good. In addition, as one of our party was going to be later arriving, we had asked for the main dishes to be served at a specific time ( and had requested this well in advance) - this was forgotten and all main dishes arrived early, way before the final member of the party had arrived ! Whilst the waiting staff were sympathetic to our complaints and understanding - at no point was any attempt made by the management to come forward and apologise or make any attempt to improve our customer experience. Very disappointing evening. Will not recommend or return.

    The menu was not that inspiring so we ended up choosing pizzas which were quite doughy (my husband nearly returned his to the kitchen) and the burger dish which wasn't that great either. We had been on a previous occasion for lunch which was great so had expected better. Not such a great experience for my husband's birthday I'm afraid.
