When I arrived I was informed my reservation had been cancelled . They were still able to seat us which was good but I had not cancelled my reservation. Never learned the name of the waitress as she didn’t introduce herself, and she seemed bothered to wait on us. When I asked for the bathroom, I was pointed into the direction of the mens. I did not love the food nor my experience here. Beautiful place for some great photos but that’s it.

T he ambience and decor was spectacular! Absolutely beautiful restaurant and the bar beside was next level. The service was was very quick and the servers were very attentive but the pacing was a little too quick as we got mains while still eating our appetizers. One drink was forgotten but they offered it on the house which was appreciated. The scallops, crab dip and polenta were amazing! The apple tart was fun for dessert. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Enjoyed a quiet evening away from the convention with my mentor. The entire staff was very professional and our waiter Andrew recommended the Apple Eclair. This dessert was decadent!

Wonderful experience. Service was spot on! Easter brunch- thank you to all the gracious servers who were so attentive & professional. I thought the menu and selections could have been a bit extended for the price, Maybe an oyster , seafood bar? All in all we had a fantastic time and food was yummy. Thank you George

We have been in the George several times before for dinner, lunch, breakfast and afternoon tea. We liked it a lot and decided to come to lunch during our visit to Seattle. This time the food was a disappointment. We liked the lobster roll in 2023 so much that ordered it again. Even though upscale restaurants change their menus and the way they cook the same menu offerings regularly, but it was a lobster salad with pieces of celery, onion and tomato instead of lobster pieces. The brioche bun was dry and it was not the same taste as in 2023. As we ordered the lobster salad as a second item it was obvious that the lobster was prepared the same way for the lobster roll and the lobster salad. The lobster and artichoke dip was fine, but the potato chips were not good at all. Why it changed so much since October 2023 is not clear.

Recently went to The George to celebrate an occasion. I had noted this in my reservation notes, but unfortunately no mention was made of the occasion. I also realized that I love The George for brunch, but wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the dinner menu. I love the vibe of The George, but this recent visit just kind of missed the mark.

Tammy was wonderful! It was a very important business meeting, and she was a joy. She was there when we needed her. Thank you, Tammy, for making this meeting such a success.
