   We all had the beef Sunday roast and all agreed it was the best we’d ever eaten!

   Staff were very welcoming and the venue is great. The food was a bit hit and miss. Ok if you just want a burger and chips.

   Extremely disappointed in the service today, the level of staff was poor considering the number of reservations you had today. We had to wait an inordinate amount of time to place our food order. First round of drinks was finished before the main food had arrived & then the second order of wine didn’t arrive until we had finished our main meal….

   Love the staff., they are pleasantly friendly, experienced, with the best level of attentiveness and helpfulness. Nothing is too much trouble. Great food and delicious wine. Thanks for a great all round experience every time!

   We celebrated Mother’s Day at the George. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the glass of bubbly a nice touch. The only criticism is that dogs are allowed inside the restaurant-I don’t particularly want dog’s breath while eating my dinner in a nice restaurant. Otherwise a lovely meal

   This is one of our favourite restaurants and we come here a lot when we’re on the Island. Tonight the food and service was as usual very good, however an inconsiderate family with very young children and a crying baby came in and sat at the table next to ours, at about 7.30/8 and were making so much noise it was impossible to enjoy the conversation with our friends. It was like being in a kindergarten - totally unacceptable for a Saturday night at a pricey restaurant. The management should make it clear that parents must behave responsibly and not allow the behaviour of their children to spoil the dining experience of other guests, or implement a rule of no children in the restaurant under 10yrs old after 7pm. Not the children’s fault - they were tired and desperately needed to go to bed!

   Superb Sunday lunch. Lovely staff - Elliot was superb with all customers and their families. We manage to select a later time for lunch and the restaurant had quietened down and provided a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. It’s our favourite for Sunday lunch. Thank you!
