   We had a lovely evening and the service was great and the food is good quality and value, so well cooked and presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I really couldn't fault it. John is a great host and assured us even if we went alone we would be welcomed. As far as I'm concerned it's the best pub in the area.

   Had Sunday lunch ( rib beef) ordered extra roasties and cauliflower cheese all cooked to perfection, portion size is great, didn’t order a starter as I’ve been before and the roast itself is definitely a belly buster

   Once again we had a great evening! We enjoyed a couple of drinks, a delicious meal and finished the evening with a well made cocktail! Guaranteed warm hospitality, value for money and delicious food!

   This hidden haven is Wandsworth is amazing in so many ways! John and Linda are amazing hosts and make you feel totally at home. Their staff are a reflection of the friendly, welcoming people John and Linda are. We love eating, drinking and relaxing in the Gardners!

   A really great local place for lunch with a good lunch deal (check before ordering your drinks!) - very relaxed atmosphere and friendly service

   One of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. Enormous too - I needed a box to take some home! The whole party very happy - a real treat.

   Just wanted to try the Gardener’s for a meal as I had stopped in for a pint on a couple of occasions snd the beer there was beautifully kept. We had the soup, the salmon, the tart and the chicken schnitzel. Everything was perfect, the soup hit and tasty, the tart was delicious and the schnitzel was cooked to perfection. The smoked salmon came with some mayonnaise and delicious pumpernickel slices which complemented the fish. The house wine was gojd and the TEA on draught was wonderful. The team were welcoming and helpful and the service swift and friendly.

    We all had a Sunday roast all plates were clean not a scrap of food left , tasty hot , potatoes were crunchy but not hard creamy leek was a lovely addition on the plate
