Created by Chef Elliot, the Garden offers internationally inspired food with Atlantic Canadian ingredients and cooking methods. Dishes like Persian Beef Tartar, Smoked Sturgeon Ravioli, Garden's special Lobster Rolll, and Maritime Salmon Hodgepodge are some of the dinner favourites. Our cocktail and mocktail menu is created by talented Zack Spears.

The Garden restaurant is centrally located in downtown Halifax, at the corner of Clyde and Queen. Our 4,000 sq ft beautiful restaurant/bar is illuminated by wall-to-wall windows, letting in an abundance of natural light, and our interiors feature a variety of exquisite, hand-crafted and imported materials from a variety of Iran and Turkey including turquoise-tiled walls and Persian artifacts, a modern, open kitchen, and a lovely array of seating options, including locally-built hardwood tables, chairs, and a playful set of swings as dining seats. We are a 80 seat restaurant along with multiple private rooms, and a 50 seat patio.

We ordered the acacado smash on multigrain toast with scrambled eggs. Nothing fresh about it as it came out of a container and spread on English muffins, not on the toast. We also had the chowder. Nice flavours but the shrimp were wee as were the scallops that were those very small frozen ones. It’s hot and miss. We’ve had great meals there too which is why we come back but lately…..

I went to The Garden earlier this year and loved it, something happened. The same dish I've order twice before was very disappointing and so was my friend's.

My first time to The Garden and I would recommend your restaurant to everyone… in fact, I already have!! I’ll definitely be back, especially for the fried feta…oh my, that was the absolute best food I’ve ever had!! So incredibly delicious!!

Service was great! Worst Hollandaise I’ve ever had but otherwise the chicken shawarma hash was good. The mimosas seemed quite overpriced.
