   This was my second time going to French Quarters. The food was excellent. The servers were wonder ful and very attentive. My only thing was that I was not told that it was a buffet on Mother's Day. I was looking forward to taking some items home. It is suggested that when patrons make reservations online, they can be made aware of the current menu for their day of reservation. Thank you for service and hospitality. I will be coming again.

   We chose French Quarter Cafe for Mother’s Day brunch; it was our first time visiting. We were blown away! The amazing Big Easy-influences paintings were stunning. The jazz music on the stereo was fantastic. And the food? Perfection. Gumbo, waffles, collard greens, potatoes, etc., all flavorful and balanced. Reminded us so strongly of our visits to New Orleans. And the desserts - beignets and peach cobbler - were astonishingly delicious. Our server was attentive and everyone was friendly. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

   We went during a slow time - wasn't many people. Amazing customer service & great food. The chef definitely takes pride in the menu. I definitely recommend.

   Good food at reasonable prices. If you are not familiar with the location of this establishment, you will not find it because there is no signage identifying the restaurant. Decor is nice and ambient lighting is a plus. Good selection of Creole inspired dishes.

    I get so many requests in my email for reviews of this, that, and the other thing that I generally ignore the requests unless something is truly awful or truly exceptional. The French Quarter falls into the expceptional category. Because my friend and I were going to a concert, we were there on the early side on a Saturday and were glad to see the tables rather full for 5:30 p.m. Always a good sign! By the time we left near 7:00 p.m. the place was pretty full. The service was great and the ambiance was nice, if a little N'awlins cliche and a little homemade. The music was slightly loud for my taste, but not too bad. Could still easily talk. But what stood out most was the fantastic food! Good portions, reasonably priced and delicious. Everything we ordered came out hot and fresh. My friend ordered the crawfish boudin balls, which were fried perfectly and had a delicious dipping sauce. I had a very nice gumbo with smoked chicken and sausage. I like food spicy and this was not very spicy, but they give you some hot sauce if you want to jack it up a little. For dinner I had the smothered catfish with crawfish etouffee, which was perfection. Very delicious! For sides I order corn macque choux, which had a great flavor, and sweet potato casserole, which was so good I took my knife to scrape out the sides to make sure I got all of it. If I had one complaint it would be that the casserole was in a little foil container. It would be better served in a pottery ramekin. My friend raved about her shrimp fettucine. We finished with an order of beignets which were fabulous - fresh, hot, perfectly fried, and covered in powdered sugar. We split an order, which was satisfactory, but I could have eaten a whole order myself, even though I had eaten every bit of everything else I was served. Highly recommend!
