   My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at The French. It was a fabulous and memorable experience! Everything was perfect -- nice ambiance, attentive and knowledgeable waiter, great drinks, creative menu -- delicious food from starters to dessert! We can't say enough in praise of a restaurant that values its patrons and delivers such a fantastic experience.

   Delight in every way. La Vie En Rose my new favorite cocktail. Food delicious. Some Servers particularly helpful and make the experience fun. Atmosphere the BEST.

   Could not wait to try and we were not disappointed. Starting with appetizers that were delicious and entrees that were perfect. We will certainly be going back again. Thank you!

   This is our third visit to the French this spring, and each time the food has been more disappointing. While the seating outside is the best on 5th Ave., the cuisine has begun to suffer for whatever reason. Each of the dishes we had were poorly plated, and their "Sunday special" of boulllabasee came in a dish that was the size of a cereal bowl, and was probably the poorest example of this dish that I have ever had. It really should not have been served. We have always enjoyed the outdoor seating, but not again.

   My wife and I dined with another couple that we hadn't seen in a while. The atmosphere was very pleasant and we had time for conversation over drinks before ordering. All the meals were very good and the service was prompt, but respectful of our time.

   Our third time at this restaurant. Really love the outdoor space. Food is traditional French. Great ambiance. Reasonably quiet on the outdoor patio.

    Delicious food. Our second time here. Great waiter. The food is beautifully presented and the portions are not huge but appropriate.
