   Great Food, Great Atmosphere and very friendly service couldn't recommended it more. Also the do fondue enough said!

   Had the raclette. Difficult to go wrong here really. Nice amount of meat and cheese. Came with some pickles and simple fresh salad.

   If you want the genuine taste of what I call Alpine food this is the place to go. My wife and I are avid skiers and came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as we had missed out on a trip this year thought we'd fill our cheese cravings with a fondue. The food was exceptional, a true taste of the alps. The staff were very friendly and even accommodated a specific menu change. The sides that came with the melted cheese pot were excellent all round. You could not fault the food. Only downside, and it's probably more my hang up than anything, the atmosphere felt slightly wrong. More cafe than restaurant. We went on a Sunday lunch time and we were the only customers, that probably didn't help. I only hope custom is good as this is a great meal to have with mates. I would definitely be returning in the future.

   Have been here a few times before and enjoyed the food and ambience. Unfortunately food was not great this time...overcooked duck and another main of sausage casoulet were not inspiring. Two out of four mains on menu were not available- And this at 6.30 in the evening on Nov 5th (a busy night generally in Crystal palace ). We had originally booked for 9pm and were told they would probably have even less available by then....must try harder!

   Rather disappointing....a rather poor attempt at a bouillabaisse kind of summed it up, limp and uninspired

   We had been here previously ( a year ago) and really enjoyed it, so was looking forward to a revisit. But so disappointed with the quality of food which arrived at different times so some of our table had finished their meal before a friend and I received ours. The quality of the food wasn't consistent either - sausage and mash v good but over cooked dry cod, chicken/rice 'over garlicky'. There was live music on the Friday night we were there which we didn't know abt prior to our visit. When you have 5 people who haven't seen each other for ages having to shout over the music it made for a v stressful evening. Sorry French House we won't be visiting again. The staff are very nice and friendly so it's a shame the kitchen wasn't up to scratch the night we visited.

   Very good traditional French cooking. Service very friendly although a bit hit and miss with timing of food and getting the bill/payment (a bit like my experiences in France!). However would definitely recommend.

   We all really enjoyed the food - it was great sharing a giant pot of fondue between 4 people! Good vegetarian options too thanks to the tarts and the baked camembert! Very nice atmosphere and attentive staff who went out of their way to make sure everything was just right! I would highly recommend!
