   We both decided on fish & chips. The meals were well presented and portions were ample for us both. Service was excellent - attentive but not at all intrusive. I had ice cream for dessert (couldn’t handle any more!) while my guest had affogato. Again everything was well presented. The restaurant was fairly quiet but the atmosphere was welcoming. I will definitely be dining at The Fox again soon.

   We loved the round table. Perfect for everyone to speak to each other. What a difference the new restaurant makes. Fabulous food & very good service. Brilliant.

   First visit in our camper van using Brit stops, food was very good and the service from our waiter (we think the waiter serving us was the duty manager) was as good as it gets, will be returning.

   We have been here before and usually the standard of food is very good. Unfortunately the steaks ordered and the sauce were not up to standard Our roast dinners were good and the service very good It was Mother’s Day and therefore very busy. I don’t think they had time for the cooking of steaks
