   A nice quiet traditional pub with a not too large modern restaurant to the side. Friendly staff both at the bar and restaurant. Excellent food couldn't fault.

   Thoroughly enjoyable evening. The service was attentive. It's one of the best meals we have had out in ages. The restaurant was not overcrowded which makes a big difference to the ambience.

   We were staying nearby for 3 nights but ate twice at The Fox as it was a fantastic meal on both occasions. The selection of mains was very good and all courses were delicious and plentiful. The friendly service and value for money was outstanding and we will definitely return!

   great food and nice atmosphere. however we had drinks in the bar to begin and were given menus to peruse. however after being shown toour table and order taken it took 1 hour and 15 minutes for starter to arrive! we know its early days but this is far too long to wait and I fear it will put people off. we will definitely pay a return visit in the hope it will be more organised. that said we were not after fast food. just timely arrival. there was just the right amount of time foromains and desserts

   We are locals and this was our 1st visit since the new owners arrived. They were very friendly and accommodating (we booked for 2 but met some friends on arriving; despite being busy - on a Thursday - they arranged a table for 5). There was a very good atmosphere and excellent quality food from an interesting menu, which was obviously prepared with care and so well worth waiting a little time for. I had the best steak I have had for years. Considering the quality of food we thought that the prices were very reasonable. We left the restaurant having had a thoroughly good time and will certainly be back for evening meals and also to try their lunchtime menu. We recommend both locals and visitors to Much Wenlock to give The Fox a try.
