Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

    We are visitors from Australia- we can never go home without a trip to The Fleece and our latest visit was a highlight as usual. The food was fabulous, and we had very attentive service. The setting can’t be beaten.

    Wonderful Bank Holiday lunch. The pies are highly recommended and quite possible the best I’ve eaten. Lovely service, fabulous setting and great value.

    Excellent country restaurant although the parking is a problem we struggled to find a space. Main meal was exceptional however a little disappointed with the asparagus starter considering it is supposed to be the best. The asparagus was very small and thin totally the opposite to The Round of Gras. We have booked again to try a Sunday roast as the drinks and main meal we could not fault

    Great ambience. Very old building full of character and charm. Very friendly staff. The choice of ales on tap was good. The food was great. We had fish and chips and the Sunday roasts. Portions were big and a reasonable price. Would highly recommend. Lovely setting in the attractive village of Bretforton

    Everything was good. The only thing was the chair: very small , like a child's chair. So uncomfortable and I ended up with a dead leg because of it.

    Probably the tastiest pie I have eaten in my life no exaggeration! Lovely atmosphere too. Wonderful and I wish they were closer to my home town.
