   Went for Sunday lunch to the Fishermans Arms with family and we weren’t disappointed. We were seated straight away and drinks order taken. The cavery was amazing, 4 choices of meats and lots of vegetables to chose from along with all other items you would expect with your Sunday dinner. Debbie’s selection of desserts were amazing, absolutely delicious. The staff very really friendly and it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend this as a great place to eat

   The staff were very attentive whilst being really busy, the food was outstanding even with my food intolerance. They accommodated perfectly.

   We booked our table for 7.30pm, upon arrival we were informed that the kitchen was running a bit behind as there’re many customers so it will be about an hour wait for the food. An hour passed, the waitress updated us that it will be another 30 - 45 mins or so. We finally got our food served at 9pm, however the steak was way over cooked as we asked for medium rare, the steak salad also over cooked to the point that it was too chewy to eat (even though it mentioned in the menu that it serves medium). Overall it was a real disappointment from the start to the end.

   Absolutely wow!! A lovely dining experience . Friendly Staff , wonderful food presented beautifully and good value . Nothing negative to say ! Thank you !

   Our first visit to The Fishermans Arms. There was only one person front house dealing with customers who was overwhelmed. When we eventually got her attention on arrival we were told to 'get a drink and your table is the big one down there'. It was only by speaking to other customers that we found out where the carvery was being served. Never again.

   We have a lovely evening from start to finish. Food was beautiful a varied menu and very good portions. Even though they were really busy nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be going again

   Been here before and had good food and service last time. Big portions and tasty food so can’t complain. Draught lager could have been better but that being said it wasn’t bad at all.

   First visit here last year was excellent in the main bar food beautiful. We did visit late afternoon evening. This visit disappointing we were in the oak room very noisy large parties and wasnt told it was only carvery when booking . It is a lovely pub with a wealth of character staff were very good and helpful and doing there best .

    this is an absoloute great find, with finding this recently we thought we would try it out for a sunday carvery for the 1st time. on arrival the staff are chatty friendly & found our booking with no problems, we ordered our drinks from the bar & were shown our table & within a few mins we were told we could go down to get our dinner when we were ready, with me having my boy was great as he was hungry. we went to get our dinner & met the chef he was also chatty pleasant polite great to talk to. staff here cant do enough for you while your there they are helpful polite & always smiling which is a great atmosphere. our food was really superb meat was tender & soft vegetables were cooked brilliantly great selection of both veg & meat & gravy was really tasty. we enjoyed our food so much we all had a pudding & again the staff were brilliant, didnt wait long for the puddings to come out & again it was really good. i cant recommend this place enough its really good, its that good that we are going again in a few weeks with the rest of the family. if you havent been before then go & try it you wont be disappointed!!
