With attentive service and a relaxing atmosphere, we pride ourselves on fine dining in a pub environment. Welcome to The Fishbourne, quality dining and accommodation by the sea. We have an extensive wine selection and superb real ales. We use local produce whilst creating meals for the restaurant and our Head Chef has over 15 years experience in fine dining. With local fresh fish dishes, a daily specials board, vegetarian options, a smaller appetites menu and traditional pub favorites, there are many options available to suit all tastes with a selection of mouth watering desserts on offer.

We had a lovely meal for new years eve. There was a lovely atmosphere with a peaky blinders theme. The food was delicious which we ate being a chicken and chorizo burger with salad and chips, and my boyfriend had fish and chips. Sadly felt a little let down on the time it took to order our dessert as the staff were becoming rather busy with big tables. And then we ordered a cheesecake which was vanilla and was very well enjoyed halved between us, along with a profiteroles the same again halved but sadly not as enjoyed. They didn't seem to have much cream in the centre of any. But otherwise would have been perfect. Always enjoy coming here though and will definitely be coming back.

Disappointed not to be offered the special menu . Apparently if you book this way it's not offered .not happen espically after live chat the person wasn't at all interested in what I had to say . Won't be going back

We visited for dinner on a Saturday night. We had a chicken tartlet to start. It had pastry that was so soggy we had to send it back. I think it had just been microwaved. For mains we had a fish risotto that was just mush and disintegrated in the mouth. We also had the small steak that was about 1/3 inedible fat. The puddings were however good. The service was really inattentive. They left us with our mains for 30 mins after we had finished. There were only about 10 other people in the restaurant, so it was really just a case of the staff not really being interested.

Busy place but good food and nice atmosphere. We had Sunday lunch and it was busy but in the evening much quieter. We stayed overnight in room 503. Biiiig room lovely.

Nice pub/restaurant near iow ferry terminal. Quite busy on a Sunday lunch time. Sunday roast and normal pub menu available. Service quick and efficient, but puzzled that you have to order at the the bar , somewhat takes the edge off of a "luxury" lunch. Having said, enjoyable and would recommend.

A good pub with a good selection on standard and more refined dishes. We had the fish dishes and they were delicious! V accommodating with the kids too, serving their food first.

Monday must be a bad day! We had to wait over half an hour for food , long waits for other service and we were given someone else’s bill. Not a good experience..

Sunday afternoon and they must of run out of vegetables from Sunday lunch as all of our meals were lacking , the vegetarian option was rice with some curry sauce . No vegetables so it went back
