   We had booked 2 months ago and a few hours before we were due to arrive I received a call telling me they were not open that evening. This was most disappointing as we had been travelling for 4 hours . They tried to say it was an error with the website but I don’t believe it, I think they just thought it wasn’t worth staying open. However according to the website if we hadn’t turned up they would have charged us £20 for no show. How fair is that? According to the information on the site they are open until 10pm. Needless to say we shall never patronise them again, there are plenty of better restaurants in the area.

   This is the second time of visiting, absolutely outstanding food. I came with a friend who had never been before and we both had the prawn tacos, she said they were the best prawns she had ever had, that goes for me too. Bringing my hubby next time

   A good choice of dishes on the main menu and on the specials board. I had the smoked fish carbonara and my partner had chalk stream trout. Both were delicious! The staff were helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit.
