​The Ferry House Inn is an award-winning 16th-century country public house sitting alongside the Swale Estuary in the peaceful hamlet of Harty, on the Isle of Sheppey. It was named the Taste of Kent Awards' 'Best Dining Pub or Bistro' in 2018 and 2014 as well as holding an AA rosette for culinary excellence.
The kitchen provides quality pub food, A La Carte dining in the restaurant, weddings, 4* accommodation and events.
The beef and lamb serviced are reared on the owners' own family farms, the team shoot their own game and grow their own herbs, vegetables and fruits in the pub's own kitchen gardens. Additional ingredients are foraged from hedgerows and the nearby seashore.

                        Staff and food were absolutely outstanding I highly recommend the steak! Our visit was in the hight of Covid so the tables are in the large event space as to allow for social distancing and not in the usual seating area which is full of character, completely understandable and unavoidable given the current situation. Although the restrictions they managed to deliver an amazing meal and great friendly service.
