   Brought my mom to Serenbe for the weekend - this was our Friday evening kickoff meal. The setting is great, enjoying the last of the daylight hours on the closed in porch. Service was terrific! We tried the tasting menu option which was perfect, allowing us to try 3 courses without feeling overly full afterwards. From the cocktails at the start to the dessert course, we enjoyed our experience tremendously.

   We read the reviews and decided to try this place for dinner, not to be disappointed with limited lunch menu. We were glad we did. First, bar happy hour starts at 4pm. We didn't know that and came late. Still got the time to browse wine and cocktail menu. The wine selection is not extensive but the wines are chosen with great care. Whoever selected wines for this place, deserves high points. The wines well priced and portions are generous. French rosé on the menu is remarkable and worthy of a second glass (or maybe even third). Reds are great as well. We had 3 course menu.. the way to go! You can select 5 or 7 course, but for each of us appetizer, main and dessert were plenty. Of course, you can select à la carte, but value is in the multiple course meal. Both appetizers were outstanding (peaches and cream and spring rolls), our fish was cooked perfectly and panna cotta desserts were wonderfully presented. It was not the best panna cotta we've had but close to the best one in Atlanta. What can I say? Yes, scenery is memorable, especially at dusk. Its an idyllic place, with many things to do. We will be back when the weather gets cooler. Then you can sit outside and enjoy wines, food and weather at the same time. Its best to do it during weekdays when its quiet and serene!

   Tha restaurant was lovely and quaint. The food was good. The wine menu and liquor list was limited. Overall a good experience.

   Had the 5 course tasting menu. Everything was well done. The portions were larger than what I'm used to with multiple courses, but I ate all of it! The pecan pie was a little too sweet for me, but overall very nice. Our server was very sociable and gave us excellent service. The dish I enjoyed the most was the cucumber soup. The farmarita was delicious, definitely order one. Cute spot for a romantic date.

   We really enjoyed our experience. Our daughter not so much, since the menu is limited she really didn't find anything she liked. We were disappointed in the chocolate cake, my husband had one bite and didn't eat anymore. The pecan pie was very good. We would go back, probably for a date night.

   It was our first time dining at Farmhouse at Serenbe. It was a birthday luncheon for two. We had a 1:30p reservation and had to wait a little past our reservation to be seated. But in the meantime we enjoyed the luxury of relaxing on the porch on a pleasant summer day. Everyone was friendly. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely scrumptious from start to finish. Our meal began with homemade biscuits served with hot pepper jelly. It did not sound appetizing but the sweet and spicy together were wonderful. Followed by fresh, served hot, fried green tomatoes served as our appetizer. They were prepared to perfection. The greatest part of the meal was the entrée of fried chicken with basmati Vidalia onion casserole, roasted summer squash and cucumber salad. The chicken was marinated and fried to perfection. It was worth the drive alone. The blend of flavors on the plate made us hate when we had finished. We finished our meal with the peach and blueberry cobbler which was sinfully delicious. Such a Sunday dinner meal is perfect accompanied by the mint infused sweet tea. Driving an hour out of the city was worth it for this dining experience. To have great food in a relaxing environment with the perfect amount of southern charm definitely places Farmhouse high on our list of places to dine. Whether with the family or just for two, Farmhouse is a perfect "farm to table" dining excursion.

   We dine out a lot, and are quite particular or fussy or picky - we care about great food! This place, at least under current chef Thaddeus, is wonderful. Tasting menu was reasonably priced and delicious, fresh, seasonal ingredients, nicely prepared and presented. If going to Serenbe, it's worth checking out!

   Spring rolls were very tasty. Tri-tip has great potential but mine was cold. Spoke with the waiter and it was changed out with a smaller piece of meat that was not much warmer. The pork chop that my wife had was excellent. Overall the food was good and is a great find for foodies. However, the service was awful. The waiter was training a girl. 1st day on a Friday night? You would think with two of them we would have been taken care of. The group of four a couple of tables over were more than taken care of (multiple table visits and passed right by us) while we sat waiting on water, drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Groups came in after we ordered and left before we got our food. Waiter apologized and made excuses but no one else seemed to have to wait for their orders. Gave ourselves 1 hour and 45 minutes to eat and we almost missed our play. Manager seemed unconcerned. Very dissappointing. Could be a great place but the service needs to improve.

   My wife and I had lunch at The Farmhouse and were disappointed with the overall quality of the food. The entrees and sides were lukewarm at best. My wife had the ribs, overcooked and under flavored, and I had the fried chicken, not so much fried as broiled with the strange nub of the wing protruding out. The restaurant was not crowded so there was no excuse for what seemed to be food left on a counter waiting to be served. Considering the long drive from the city out to the country to The Farmhouse, we were expecting a great farm-to-table experience from one of Atlanta's renowned restaurateurs. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming.

    recently dined for anniversary; enjoyed the seasonal veggie, squash gratin, pork cheeks, then the whole roasted trout and pork chop; all fantastic; casual dining experience; great food
