Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

Our only problem was deciding which options to go for as there were so many acceptable choices. All four of us were very pleased with our mains selections - (enormous) lamb chops, lamb leg steak, duck breast and hake; our starters were just the right size to whet the appetite without being over filling. Excellent wines too.

Unfortunately l, the steak my wife and I ordered were very bland and dis not seem to be seasoned. It was a real shame as family recommended Darts Farm, all saying how good the steak meals are.

A fantastic lunch! We had the vegan sough dough pizza and it was the best I have tasted - and there was no cheese! Outstanding - we will definitely be back

Attention to detail was superb! Reminded us of being back in South Africa with superb hospitality and super attentive staff! The food was divine as expected.

Relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous food and exceptional service. This was a first visit, and by no means the last. Highly recommend.

Love this place but the first time for Sunday lunch. Food was delicious but personally I would have preferred my beef to come sliced and not served as a steak. The plates were not overly large and food was brimming over. Pots and veg served separately would be much more appealing to me. Our lovely Polish waitress was wonderful.
