An iconic landmark pub dating back to the 1930s, The Evenlode is conveniently located between the city of Oxford and the market town of Witney close to the Cotswolds.

Up with the larks, we serve a delicious cooked breakfast every day from 8am, along with freshly brewed coffees and a range of teas. An ideal venue for light or leisurely lunch with friends and family, our menu features a selection of homemade pub classics, some fabulous, award-winning local ales and a refined selection of fine wines. And for sundowners, our ample terrace is the perfect pitstop for a G&T or two enjoyed over one of our locally inspired sharing plates, or one of our seasonal specials, bursting with regional produce.

Perfect for a discreet biz meeting if you asked to be tucked into a corner :) .... great food, staff excellent and friendly and I would highly recommend. I'll be going again

Brillant friendly service nothing was to much trouble . As it was close to Christmas the little parties didn't suffer because of the big ones . Would definitely recommend.

I met up with old friends and found the Evenlode a great venue. The food was great and well presented. The specials board was very creative. The seating was good to as you weren't on top of each table. Nice cosy seating around bar area for an after meal coffee or just a drink. Just one niggle, we were eating lunch so was not really busy but only one waitress was serving and it was quite slow. But I certainly will be back.
