   La cena no fue la mejor. La sopa demasiado salada y el pescado duro. El postre muy rico. Una pena que la cocina sea tan inconsistente.

   Food was pretty good, but the service was so bad it took away from the whole evening. We made an 8pm reservation on OpenTable, we didn’t get seated until 8:45pm, and then told we need to order everything by 9pm. We ended up ordering a few plates, and probably didn’t need the fish entree (which the waitress could have told us). We waited and waited for our food and then they brought things out completely haphazardly. I asked for the pizza to come out first so my daughter could eat it and it took forever, despite the big wood burning stove. There were only two waitresses so they were completely understaffed so we don’t blame them but honestly this was beyond “Caribbean time” (my wife is from Trinidad so we know all about that). Food was tasty, so I have to give them that but they need to get their service together to make it worth the price we paid.

   Randomly chose this place while on the island based on the reviews. We loved it so much we came a second time before we flew back to Chicago. Top notch service, food was fabulous, and the views beautiful. Can’t wait to return!

   We keep coming back to The Eclipse, one of our favorite restaurants. Today we were celebrating my birthday and The Eclipse definitely did not disappoint us. Very attentive service, delicious food, great ambiance and a view that just cannot be beat. We will keep coming back.

    A beautiful open air setting overlooking the ocean. Great drinks and ambience. Definitely not worth the hype; salad was good, but the shrimp appetizer was mushy. Salmon was gummy, arroz con pollo was overcooked and dry. Seafood risotto had decent seafood, but the flavor was terrible. The pasta carbonara was bland. Pizza was okay. All in all, not a great dining experience or value! Would not recommend.
