   This was not in Fairhope, but Legacy. They did not have some items such as a wine we selected because they were moving which was annoying. They did not have desserts as they were ordered by a large party seated before us. Perhaps it will be better when they get to Fairhope.

   We were there for a Valentine's day meal - disappointed with the food quality and temperature - like the plate was put together with foods in different stages of prep. Grits had been around for a while, Hollandaise sauce on the fish and veggies cold and congealed. Service was excellent. For the price charged, the food should have been exceptional. We won't be returning.

   Scallops and crab cakes were very good. Some dishes were way to heavy on the sauces.

   Our meals were very good. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The wait for our food was a lot longer than expected, perhaps due to several large parties at the restaurant. We were comp'd dessert due to the long wait for our meals. I think the food prices were relevant to the quality of the food; however, the wine prices were high. The restaurant didn't have bottles of wine for sale, so we ordered glasses of wine. My wife had 3 glasses of pinot noir and I had 3 glasses of cabernet sauvignon. Total wine bill was $75.00 (an average of $12.50/glass) which I consider pretty high given that we were not told the prices prior to ordering nor were we able to order a full bottle. Otherwise, a very nice evening.

   Great food, and a friendly server, but our food took a very long time to come out. No explanation was offered. My food was lukewarm upon arrival.

   The service wasn’t the best and I had high expectations since I thoroughly enjoyed the downtown location. My fiancé ordered a steak well done that was burnt. We returned it but the replacement steak still wasn’t cooked properly . It was my 40th birthday so I ordered a dessert that I didn’t eat and my waiter didn’t charge me but didn’t offer another dessert option. The service was poor. I will not return nor recommend this location.

   Overall I was disappointed with our dinner. Several items were not available or not recommended by our server. When the food came out, my wife's food was cold (crab cakes), and my bone in rib-eye teak was tough. We tried to be pleasant and did not complain. I have eaten at the DW downtown location twice and never had a complaint. I will not return to the Springhill location. I can be more satisfied at a restaurant chain and spend far less.

   Excellent food and service. Very accommodating to a special request. I was our anniversary and I asked for wine to be at the table. I was even called to see what type of wine we prefered

    I use this restaurant often when scheduling Business meals for the upper management when they are in town for a visit. They always come in the next day very pleased with the meal and the atmosphere. The Dumb waiter has quickly become a favorite amongst my management.
