   There is very little luxury about the pub but we had delicious rump steaks and excellent wine. Happy to recommend the Duke and Duchess.

   Restaurant is spacious, and on the evening I dined, very quiet. Friendly people, and was served with good steaks.

   We thought this would be a quiet place to catch up and have dinner, but it seems the quiet is reserved for lunch. The place was buzzing (loudly) in the evening and we were really glad to have reserved a table. We ordered the starter platters with our drinks and found the quality of food to be good, but it was too loud to stay on for dinner. I'd love to go back for a quiet lunch some time to try out more food from their menu

   Tucked away on a quiet street round the corner from St Paul's, this is an excellent choice for a business lunch or for tourists. The menu is short, but the food is excellent. Attentive service made for a very enjoyable business lunch. Would definitely recommend the Duke & Duchess.

   I have been here before and had no complaints but this time I had the Spicy, free range chicken burger with guacamole, home-made chips, onion rings and brioche bun. it tasted like Processed chicken it was horrible. The place has a really good vibe but this put me off.

   I was really surprised at how much my friends and I enjoyed our meal here as it was a very well priced pub for the location. Service was attentive, although it was quiet, and the food was great! Would definitely go again and already have recommended it.

   Great service, good standard gastro pub fare, went there as a good place for entertaining a Canadian colleague wanting some nice British food.

    We (4 girls) wanted to try a new pub near St Pauls that we hadn't tried before. We reserved a table in advance and got a nice window spot. Table service was good & very prompt and the food was really nice too. They had a deal on; order any main of £8+ and get a desert free. We tried 3 different deserts (treacle sponge, chocolate cheesecake and one more but sadly none of them were that great. Mains were fine though. Just as we were paying & leaving a bunch of rowdy drunken boys came in which did slightly ruin the atmosphere as they did go up to people's tables and drunkenly and loudly start trying to chat to people.
