   This was me and my wife's first time visiting The Drake. The retro feel of sort of going back in time was a really cool sensation. We were there for a jazz performance from the Lola Kristine Trio group that night. It was a great performance from Lola, we're new fans. The attentive service from our waiter was impeccable. He was an awesome conversationalist. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Every bite was flavorful and savory. The food was equally matched by Lola's performance. She was very, very good. Her compositions and interpretations of what she played were effortlessly amazing. She is incredibly talented. It was an extraordinary night with all our senses fulfilled. Thank you.

   Absolutely wonderful dinning experience. The meal was superb and the atmosphere divine. Staff was just the right amount of attentive. If you have a chance to go... don't miss it!

   The customer service and the food were above average, as usual. The music was outstanding. One of my favorite places in Laguna Beach.

   Sorry to say the best part of the meal was the waitress heather and the little band playing. Music was great. We had Caesar salad and which was our fault but loaded with anchovies Which took over the whole salad. For dinner Kathy had the halibut. It was very fishy. I had the filet which I had asked for medium and peppercorn on the side, it came out rare and they put tons of peppercorn on it. We were tired so we picked and left. Wouldn’t go back

   Food so good that they could be pretentious, but they're not. The awesome flavors just kept coming! We started with Expertly crafted cocktails. Appetizer was a yellowtail credo, bursting with complex flavors. The live music started, listening to a credible salsa beat while we savored a nutty manchego Spanish salad. Entrees were pork tenderloin and venison. Venison was my favorite. The final course was a dairy free sorbet, light and refreshing. Attentive to detail in volume of music, service, food and presentation. A delightful and delicious evening. Prices = quality, and a per person charge for music, also a good value

   The ambiance was incredible. The service was good for the most part but I felt our waitress could’ve checked on us more often. The mix of music was perfect for dinner time. The food, first the French fries were probably the best I’ve ever had and the broccolini was incredible. My only complaint was the $74.00 ribeye. For $74 I was expecting an incredible taste experience but it fell far short of tasty. It was ok and I did finish it only because it was $74. But I’ve had better tasting steaks at Outback Steakhouse. I definitely was disappointed with their ribeye steak.

    We love this restaurant we keep coming back for special occasions! The food is always a 10/10 but tonight it wasn’t super busy and the band was wonderful, but they were really loud so it kept our table conversations to a minimum which was a bummer. It was really loud and overwhelming. However, we still love this restaurant and we definitely will be back!
