With beautiful surroundings, and a stylish interior, The Derby Arms in Epsom is a classic meets modern pub, a perfect setting for any occasion. Our chefs take pride in preparing fresh, delicious tasting food using the finest ingredients. Signature dishes include spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit, slow cooked pork belly with seared scallops, salmon supreme served with thyme-roasted butternut squash, and our home-made British beef burger. For a lighter bite, our spiralised carrot salad and Mediterranean mezze are both delectable, or for some sweet indulgence our melting golden chocolate bomb with caramel ice cream is sure to please!

    Been to the derby arms several times and had a lovely time, however waited over 30 minutes for our plates to be collected despite waitresses clearly walking past and trying to get their attention. Had to go to the bar to get the bill eventually after 45 minutes as no one came over! Food was also cold and gravy came out watery.. not the best service at all for somewhere that has so much potential. Won’t be going back. I

    There was a long wait before we were attended to and seated. The actual table service was fine as was the food. It was fairly noisy but was busy. It is a little pricey here considering it’s only a pub!

    Although the restaurant was very busy we were served drinks in a reasonable amount of time. The food was very good & everyone enjoyed their meal

    A nice venue for a midweek meal. Plenty of choice (even if your first choice has run out!). Nice ambiance and very helpful, pleasant staff.

    The menu looked nice for a Sunday lunch, but the execution was not as good as the expected meal. I started with the calamari that were small thin pieces with a crisp batter, but needed thicker pieces of calamari. I then had the lamb, and although tasty was very tough, and my wife’s chicken was a little dry. We had an ok meal, but don’t think we’ll rush back.

    Arrived to find they were only doing a special menu and 7 out of the 12 dishes weren’t available. Waitress was very good and apologetic but still no trio roast !! :(
