Azabu Miami Beach, houses various experiences under one roof; tied together with the spirit of Omatenashi, the essence of Japanese hospitality. Beyond Azabu lies The Den, an exclusive hidden omakase room specializing in the art of Edomae Sushi helmed by Master Sushi Chefs. Located inside The Stanton Hotel, The Den at Azabu Miami Beach elevates the local culinary scene with authentic Japanese cuisine and transportive experiences.
The Den serves Edomae Tokyo style sushi. The Den is a 18 seat counter, omakase style sushi restaurant, where Sushi chefs will guide guests through an authentic omakase experience. Most ingredients will be flown in directly from the Toyosu fish market in Tokyo. The Den serves a multi course menu with no a la carte options. Food menus are $300++ or $185++ per guest. The Den has set seating times, open Tuesday-Saturday. All guest must consume raw fish. Bookings must be prepaid. Strict 24 hour cancellation with no acception. Please see cancellation policy.

    A truly outstanding Omakase experience. Perhaps one of the best in the continental US. The chef select ingredients and has them purchased by fire in Tokyo. All of the ingredients for time to be at their peak at their point of origin. There were things on the menu that I had never seen before, and I have a pretty substantial Sushi experience. Portions were perfectly sized, and the total amount of food was fantastic. I had the sake pairings-also fantastic. Chef prepared and narrated the preparations as we ate. The counter seats 12 or 14 people, although we were only seven the night that I’ve done. It is an intimate and truly pleasant experience.

    We celebrated my husband’s birthday at The Den. He always wanted to have an Omakase experience and The Den did not disappoint. The food was amazing as was the service. They made us feel special even with others seated nearby.

    Incredible omakase. Intimate, perfectly paced, and felt truly special. The chef explained each course, and the staff was beyond attentive.

    It used to be my favorite omakase. After losing its Michelin star we made our first Den booking of the year assuming the experience would be as great as before but sadly this time was a disappointment. There was no surprise that it lost its star. Quality of food substantially decreased. I never remember waiting past the reservation time and this time we waited for 20+ minutes past the reservation time. Don’t think that I will give it another shot for a long while.

    Amazing experience. Highly recommend! I eat sushi all over the country and this is my favorite omakase I’ve ever had.

    Highly recommend the Den. Top-level dining is difficult to find in South Florida - especially for Japanese food - and this was definitely one of the best Omakase experiences I have ever had. It’s indeed pricey but you get what you pay for.
