   My friend and I enjoyed our meal at Minories. Friendly staff, cosy bar and really tasty food. Quick and attentive service

   I was meeting family who were visiting the UK and had spent the morning at the Tower of London. It was a convenient location and, having been to other Jamie's restaurants, I was confident that this would work. We obviously caught them on a bad day as there were a number of things not available. Apparently, there had been a problem with deliveries but the service was also very slow. The lunch was still fine and enjoyable but overall rather disappointing.

   Really disappointed with Jamies, having seen decent reviews. The Fish Pie needed some fish in it and there was a smell noticeable when you walked in...

   Food was good, but I think it's better for lunchtime food & drinks, there wasn't so much atmosphere for an evening. It was good for us as we wanted a quick dinner near work, before we got the train to Heathrow. Using my Tastecard meant food was 241 & their Happy hour drinks, meant Prosecco was only £16. Bargain!

   The decor and service at this restaurant were both excellent, however we were disappointed by the food, which was pretty basic. I guess it wasn't badly cooked: More that the menu was a little uninspired. The music was also a little loud and too generically poppy for my taste, however I guess that's what appeals to the City bankers in the bar area who seemed to form the majority of the clientele.
