   Quality was good. The flavors on my duck dish did not compliment each other. The bitterness of the roguefort polenta didn’t not work with the duck, the sauce did not have enough sweetness to combat it. I liked the feel of the restaurant. My husband enjoyed his shrimp & grits dish. I agree with a previous review, waiters need to wear black slacks at this type of establishment, sloppy jeans don’t do it.

   I took my family of 4 here for dinner for my 50th birthday. We had a great time and the duck was AMAZING!!

   A very nice French Bistro style restaurant in a charming old house setting. Has a fairly priced menu and entrees come with good sides. We enjoyed the cauliflower potato appetizer, the thick pork chop and beef tips they cooked to my lesser temperature choice. Service is polite and keeps the pace appropriate to the diners. Overall experience a reason to return.

   Great fix price Sunday night French dinner. Each of 3 Courses were great. Very reasonable price.

   Always the best food and service in town. They never cease to amaze me with their quality and consistency of food and service. It would be difficult to recommend just one dish so go try everything. Thanks to the wonderful staff for always fitting us in and taking special care of us.

   The food was excellent with many choices to accommodate most tastes. Our waiter was very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to visiting Flagstaff each year and having dinner at the Cottage. It’s one of the few fine dining restaurants in the area.

    My husband and I had dinner here Friday and it was excellent. We had two different salads (both delicious), the pork tenderloin, and the steak tips. I can say that we have never had pork as tender and delicious. Really. The steak tips were also very good with the associated roquefort sauce being the star.
